    Joliette, QC , Aug. 5, 2014 / CNW Telbec / – return of construction holiday, the CSST wishes to recall the importance of taking all appropriate steps to prevent accidents, such as falls from height on construction sites. These represent a significant proportion of lesions recorded in this sector. Often serious injury or death.
    Falling off a roof or scaffolding, fall into an uncovered hole that workers faced exterior siding on a building or shingles on a roof, each work situation is a high hazard potential should not be overlooked .
    Unfortunately, every year, nearly 700 falls from height occur on construction sites in Quebec, which means 2 falls from height on an average day. In 2013, three people died.
    Prevention methods exist to counter these accidents
    Several steps can be taken to prevent falls and avoid having other victims:

    Minimize work at height to reduce the risk of falling. For example, the assembly is a ground-art construction that allows, among others, to construct a roof to the ground and then hoisted by means of a crane;
    Use collective means of protection, such as guardrails around openings or covers that can withstand the loads they are subjected to close holes;
    Use a safety net or a safety harness, if it proves impossible to prevent falls;
    Use ladders as a means of access and limit their use as a workstation;
    Secure ladders installing them on a stable basis and have your hands free to ascend and descend.

    For the solutions and the primary means of protection to prevent accidents on construction sites, visithttp://www.dangerconstruction.ca . There is also evidence of the capsule Jonathan Plante , carpenter became paraplegic after a fall from height.

    MONTREAL, July 30. 2014 / CNW Telbec / – Two suspected advisors and brokers, Justin Maisonneuve-Strasbourg doing business under the name Justin Jonathan Financial Service and Micael Girard , District Director, must end their illegal activities particularly promoted through the web and social network Facebook.
    The facts revealed by the investigation to date
    The AMF investigation reveals that particular day Maisonneuve-Strasbourg Justin, Justin and Jonathan Financial Service Micael Girard would be related to the activities of consultants and derivatives activities to to conduct derivatives transactions without being registered or licensed by the Authority contrary to what the website of the company and documents likely forged by Justin Maisonneuve-Strasbourg allegedly presented to an investor to believe he possessed the required entries.
    Through a website and Facebook accounts, the respondents would invite investors to invest in derivative instruments by promising mind-boggling revenue, even up doubling investment and guaranteed profits. Activities which they are accused are mainly related to binary options. A binary option is a type of option  where the investor faces two issues at maturity of its investment, or he earns a specified amount in advance (often called premium) or he loses his bet is “all or nothing”. We often associate the binary options market currencies. The Authority has also warned the public about this type of approach in 2013.
    In addition, Justin Maisonneuve-Strasbourg have made an offering of securities of the entity Justin Jonathan Financial Service in the amount of $ 75,000 from a young investor of his entourage, who recently inherited, thinking it was the purchase of 15% shares of the company Jonathan Justin Financial Service.
    Orders to the respondents
    at the request of the Autorité des marchés financiers who wanted to protect investors and the Bureau decision and Review (BDR) issued July 17, 2014 interim restraint orders against Justin Maisonneuve- Strasbourg and Justin Jonathan Service Financial since they had tried to make withdrawals from the bank account into which investors’ money had been deposited. This order has the effect of blocking the money in the bank accounts of Justin Maisonneuve-Strasbourg and Justin Jonathan Service Financial and prevent them from disposing of funds, securities or other property.
    On 25 July 2014, the BDR maintained restraint orders mentioned above, in addition to prohibit Justin Maisonneuve-Strasbourg, Jonathan Justin Service financial and Micael Girard to act as advisor and exercise any derivatives activity to perform operations on derivatives, including dealer activities. The BDR also banned Justin Maisonneuve-Strasbourg and Justin Jonathan Financial Service exercise activity advisor and any activity to perform any operation on all forms of investment described in section 1 of the Act securities, including dealer activities. Finally, the BDR ordered to withdraw any publication or solicitation published or posted on the Internet or otherwise, and to close the websitehttp://www.justinjonathanservicefinancier.com or any other site of the same nature as the latter website.
    If you believe you have been the target of an approach Justin Maisonneuve-Strasbourg, please contact an agent at our  Information Centre .
    Better guard against this type of approach
    although they contain information that may be useful to investors, web and social media can be a breeding ground for fraudulent approaches. It is therefore best used with caution and test your vulnerability .
    That the person offering you make an investment you whether known or unknown, you should always apply these 5 simple steps that can detect if you are the target of a questionable approach.

    I know reality. I am aware of the missteps, miscues and shortcomings of the PNOY Administration. But, I have not forgotten political history. I can still remember the not-so-distant past. I can still recall what happened during the previous administrations of Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Joseph Ejercito Estrada.

    I could not forget the poker-faced GMA with her pretentious “I am sorry” as a result Garci-election scandal and the gargantuan corruptions like the NBN-ZTE deals, the Gen. Garcia scam, the Fertilizer scam, the PNP 2nd-hand chopper scam, the PCSO scam, Kevlar-helmets scam, the massive corruptions at the AFP, Dept. of Agriculture, DAR and DPWH, the much-hated PDAF scams and the human rights violations during the reign of the so-called “Berdugo”- Gen. Palparan.

    I could not forget the conviction of Erap Estrada of the crime of PLUNDER. I could still recall the Jueteng scandal, the STL corruption, the NAIA 3 scam, the Jose Pidal scam and the massive wars at the heart of the Bangsamoro homeland and the twin-bombings at the Davao Airport and the Sasa Pier.

    I know the real shades of MASSIVE POVERTY and UNEMPLOYMENT, as I know too well the HARDSHIPS, HUNGER, SUFFERING and HOPELESSNESS of my pro-bono clients-AGRARIAN REFORM BENEFICIARIES, FARMWORKERS and the LUMADS who have long been deprived of SOCIAL JUSTICE. I have seen the sufferrings and agonies of the CHILDREN and FAMILIES of the farmworkers-beneficiaries of SIFARBCO, UFARBEMCO, CDHARBEMCO, HARBCO, NGEIMPC and the deprivation and poverty of the INDIGENOUS PEOPLES of MADC.

    However, I will not deny that the SINCERE EFFORTS of the “DAANG MATAWID” of PNOY have made positive strides at DPWH, Department of Agriculture, DILG and the Armed Forces of the Phils. The no-nonsense implementation of INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS in a nationwide-scale by DPWH Sec. Singson and the massive AGRI-PROGRAMS of the Dept.of Agriculture have offered an alternative-positive way in doing things in the Government. I personally know the high-morale and positive outlook of the middle officers and soldiers of AFP and the employees and officers of the DA and DPWH with the programs of good governance, transparency and anti-corruption measures which they have been implementing under the present dispensation.

    I will not deny that positive efforts have been done under ARMM and that we now enjoy RELATIVE PEACE at the Bangsamoro homeland with the PEACE INITIATIVES of PNOY and the MILF. I will not deny the fact that the ANTI-CORRUPTION CRUSADE of PNOY had brought concrete investments and stronger business confidence to our country.

    Lest we forget that corruption is still real in some government agencies. Poverty and inequality are very real to the urban and rural poor. Unemployment and underemployment are real to the working and middle class. Environmental degradation is still a real threat to people’s security and health.

    I know that some REAL GOOD EFFORTS could still be done by PNOY and he should move FORWARD in implementing the much-needed projects and programs for our people, within the CONSTITUTIONAL BOUNDS. I will just content myself in comparing PNOY’s EFFORTS with the previous graft-ridden and morally-decadent administrations of GMA and ERAP.

    Ayaw pod kadali kalimot.
    However, PNOY should and must do things in a RIGHT PERSPECTIVE, PROPER WAY and WITHIN LEGAL MEANS. He is duty-bound to relentlessly and seriously PURSUE his CAMPAIGN for the “DAANG MATUWID.” His administration must PRODUCE JOBS, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, CORRUPTION-FREE PROJECTS and AGRICULTURAL SUPPORT. He must provide an ENVIRONMENT for PROMPT JUSTICE and he must avoid legal missteps and miscues.

    Afterall, this GUY – PNOY – was catapulted to Presidency not that he harbored personal ambitions but due to his “Cory-Ninoy Aquino” genes, “Daang Matuwid” and Anti-Corruption calls against the backdrop of the much-hated GMA regime. The 2010 choices then were clear, either you were for “PNOY” or “Erap” or Bro. Eddie” which represented the “ANTI-GMA” VOTES or you were for GMA represented by “Villar” and “Gibo.” Ahhh, Gibo, the bar topnotcher who had so-much potential to become president, but who was too funny and naive for failing to read the signs on the walls and for securing GMA’s endorsement which was actually a “KISS OF DEATH.” Perhaps, only the “bobos,” not like Gibo, knew that an endorsement from GMA was a “CURSE” for she had a negative twelve (-12) rating.

    I live in a REAL PRACTICAL WORLD. I know the shortcomings and the unfulfilled promises of PNOY. I know that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I know. However, this President PNOY is MUCH-BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS ONES. He can be TRUSTED compared to GMA or Erap. Thus, he still earns my TRUST, RESPECT and SUPPORT. He just has to pursue the “DAANG MATUWID” PROGRAMS and act fast for our people are getting impatient.

    He must not fail. He must be constantly reminded that “MARAMI PA ANG MAHIRAP” dahil “MARAMI PA ANG CORRUPT.” And as a PEOPLE, we must be reminded that we too must do our share in the efforts for GOOD GOVERNANCE, TRANSPARENCY and ACCOUNTABILITY.

    Move FORWARD PNOY.
    Act FAST on the STRAIGHT PATH.
    This is the marching order from your BOSS!

    Lac-Mégantic, QC, July 13. 2014 / CNW Telbec / – The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Land Occupancy, Mr. Pierre Moreau , Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and Minister responsible for the Estrie region, Mr. Pierre Paradis , MP for Mégantic and the President of the Interdepartmental Committee on the revival of Mégantic and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister responsible for the Estrie region and the Minister of Transport, Mr. Ghislain Bolduc, today announced financial assistance of 60 million to enable the community to resume a normal life and to continue the reconstruction, recovery and resumption of economic activities in Lac-Mégantic as had promised the Prime Minister, Mr. Philippe Couillard , with the Mayor Madame Colette Roy Laroche , July 6 at the commemoration activities.
    “We can never replace the loved ones who perished in the disaster of 6 July 2013. However, like the entire population of Quebec, the Government intends to maintain its support for Méganticois. The resumption of normal life in Lac-Mégantic is a priority for our government. This is why we offer ongoing support to the City and its victims, “assured Minister Paradis.
    Specifically, the financial assistance of $ 60 million to help compensate victims, to allow the reconstruction of the city center, the shopping area and the revitalization of Fatima sector.
    “Nearly a year after the tragedy that shocked the entire province, we are aware of the urgency to act. Today’s announcement reflects the government’s desire to be responsive to the concerns and anxieties experienced by the population of Lac-Mégantic and meet their expectations, “said MP Bolduc.
    The exceptional nature of the current situation means that the assistance of the Department of Public Safety and financial compensation measures for reconstruction and recovery programs may not be sufficient to meet the needs of the City of Lac-Megantic citizens who live there as well as economic traders. That is why the funding announced today will therefore aim to cover direct costs for which there is no other form of financial support. These measures were consistently complement the intervention of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment and Fight against climate change.
    “I welcome the decision of the Quebec government to take action to address the different needs in the city center.This step will clarify the actions to be taken by the various actors in the future. Moreover, funds for the reconstruction of the order of $ 35 million were announced on 5 December 2013 by the Government of Canada . Citizens can be seen that the different levels of government work together to help rebuild Lac-Mégantic, properly and promptly to enable the fullest possible extent, a return to a peaceful and normal life, “said Christian Paradis , MP Mégantic-Maple and Minister for International Development and the Francophonie.
    “The effort by the government since the events for the benefit of Méganticois effort represents an estimated $ 409 million to date amount. This considerable effort is a clear message of our government and, through him, of all Quebecois to support a community that has been proven exceptional way, “concluded Minister Moreau.
