Minister Yves Bolduc kicks off the 9th National Day of Sport and Physical Activity

QUEBEC CITY, May 1, 2014 / CNW Telbec / – The Minister of Education, Recreation and Sports and Minister of Higher Education, Research and Science, Yves Bolduc, today gave the start of the 9 th  National Day of sport and physical activity. This day aims to encourage people to take every opportunity offered to him to adopt, maintain or increase their level of physical activity.

“Regardless of age, everyone deserves to live a physically active life. It is a guarantee of well-being and autonomy that improves the quality of life. The beginning of summer is an invitation to take the air and discover or rediscover some sports and recreational activities. Take the time to be active. Simply choose the activity that suits us best and integrate our day! “Said Minister Bolduc.

This year, many activities are organized for the population in schools, workplaces and several municipalities. The activities proposed in the framework of the National Day of sport and physical activity will take place over four days, from 1 st to May 4
